How should we contact you?

About the event:

November 1, 2021 12:00 am → February 28, 2022 12:00 am

In the winter of 2021-2022 The Danish Board of Technology are organizing citizen engagement workshops on site in 6 European countries about international research collaboration and sharing of health data in neuroscience. We would like to invite you to participate in the workshop, as a representative for your field.

We need experts the field of neuroscience, neuromedicine, health data and data sharing and experts who look at these field from a societal angle, such as neuroethics or the social sciences.

The aim of the workshop is to develop guidelines for how international research collaboration and sharing of health data should take place. The development of the guidelines and principals will happen in a joint collaboration between citizens and experts with specialized knowledge within the field. This is a unique opportunity to take part in a dialogue with citizens and thereby get insights into what ordinary people think of neuroscience.

At the workshop there will be 20 citizens and 8 experts, and you will be seated with 5-6 citizen and another expert. Together you will discuss and debate some topics that have been presented for the citizens earlier in the day. The result of your talk will reflect the values and guidelines that you together have identified, and they will be published in a report that will be presented to the management of the Human Brain Project and EBRAINS and decision makers on a European level.

The workshops will take place in the following cities:

  • Copenhagen, Denmark, November 13th 2021
  • Madrid, Spain: November 20th 2021
  • Budapest, Hungary: November 29th 2021
  • Modena, Italy: 12th February 2022
